The Female Founder Collective is a network of businesses led by women, supporting women. Their mission is to enable and empower female owned and led businesses to positively impact our communities, both socially and economically. The community of the collective will enable women to connect with other women in order to give vetted resources around capital, growing their business and operating more efficiently.
Our CEO, Tamar is a proud member of this collective and is happy to display the FFC symbol to spread awareness of female-founded companies.
"Only 36% of businesses are women-owned, roughly 12.3 million businesses in 2018, up from 402,000 in 1972. I decided to start my own company after one of my (many) employers refused to give me competitive pay. Female protection agents are harder to come by, and are actually in higher demand now. I wasn’t going to let other people dictate how much we, as women, were supposed to get paid. Although my employees are not strictly female, I do recommend them more to clients, especially for the discreet clientele. In our line of work, it’s more about prevention of criminal activity & diffusion of conflict. I focus on training our agents to constantly be alert, have situational awareness, and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills. None of these mean you have to have a big, physical appearance— just the proper training."
